Animations

Over the last year, a lot of research and development has gone into our animation pipeline. Here are some of the clips, and studies we've done since April 2008.

Big Cat Walking, February 2009 - This animation is in-development. The walk cycle doesn't yet progress forward, and the head-turn is still far from perfect.

Big Cat Walking, February 4, 2009 - Still in-development. Walk cycle progresses forward. Second try, but jerky. Although feet touch the ground properly, there's not enough variation in paw placement, so the cat looks like it's sliding.

Set Fly-by, February 19, 2009 - In Development. This is a fly-by sequence of the basic Atlantean Animation set for Fantasci: Hidden War. Not much to see, but good practice animating the camera. Something for next time: a bit of a bob to simulate a person walking (i.e. - seeing the set through a person's eyes).
