Gemstone Texture Pack
435 seamless textures to be used in your modeling or graphics program, for game development, web development, or any other work you can think of. The first of many texture packs based off of textures used in the upcoming Pharaoh's Frenzy, the Gemstone Texture Pack contains the following textures, categorized as shown (see the definition of treatments below):
1) 37 Agate Textures: 1 Geode, 1 Brazilian, 4 Crazy Lace, 9 Fire, 3 Graveyard Plume, 3 Moss, 3 Plume, 2 Polka Dot, 5 Saginite, 3 Tube, 2 Pink and 1 Yellow. Separated into groupings of Geode (1), Raw (12), and Polished (24).
2) 6 Alexandrite Textures: 3 Green and 3 Red, all faceted.
3) 6 Amber Textures: 3 Yellow and 3 Orange, comprised of 5 Polished samples and 1 Raw texture sample.
4) 8 Amethyst Textures: 7 Dark and 1 Midnight Amethyst, with 5 Faceted and 3 Raw textures.
5) 1 Ametrine Texture: Raw.
6) 4 Andalusite Textures: 3 Green and 1 Red, all faceted.
7) 8 Aquamarine Textures: 1 Light, 5 Medium, 1 Turquoise and 1 Dark, with 3 being Raw and 5 being faceted.
8) 16 Beryl Textures: 2 Green, 1 Morganite, 4 Bixbite, 2 Gold, 2 Mixed, 1 Orange and 4 Goshenite. These are separated into 3 Faceted and 13 Raw specimens.
9) 4 Bloodstone Textures: 1 Dark and 3 Medium with 2 Polished and 2 Raw textures.
10) 6 Chrysoberyl Textures: 3 Green, 1 Clear, 1 Gold and 1 Yellow texture. There are 5 Faceted and 1 Raw texture in the group.
11) 10 Citrine Textures: 6 Gold, 2 Light, 1 Yellow and 1 Dark. In this group there are 4 Faceted, 3 Geode and 3 Raw textures.
12) 13 Coral Textures: 1 Tampa Bay, 2 Grey, 5 Horned, 4 Multicolor, and 1 Orange with Gold. In this group, there is a selection of 1 Cracked, 4 Polished, and 8 Raw textures.
13) 11 Diamond Textures: 8 Clear, 1 Blue, 1 Green and 1 Pink texture, including 2 Faceted and 9 Raw textures.
14) 10 Emerald Textures: 4 Dark, 2 Light, 3 Medium and 1 Bright, separated into 3 Faceted, 2 Polished and 5 Raw textures.
15) 13 Garnet Textures: 1 Dark Red, 1 Orange Grossular, 3 Orange, 2 Topazolite, 1 Green with Red, 2 Multicolor and 3 Orange with Red textures. These are split into 7 Faceted and 6 Raw textures.
16) 5 Iolite Textures: All Dark Blue, with 4 Faceted and 1 Raw specimen.
17) 19 Jade Textures: 2 Bright Green, 3 Dark Green, 2 Lavendar, 2 Medium Green, 5 Multicolor, 2 Mixed Green, and 3 Pink. These are organized into 15 Polished and 4 Raw textures.
18) 24 Jasper Textures: 1 Alien, 1 Blue, 2 Burro, 1 Chicken Tracks, 1 Cloud Wing, 1 Dalmatian, 3 Dark, 1 Graphic, 3 Hornitas, 2 Leopardskin, 1 Light, 2 Pink, 1 Purple, 2 Rocky Butte, 1 Rosetta and 1 Stained Glass. All of these textures are of Polished Jasper, except one (which is Raw).
19) 10 Kunzite Textures: 2 Purple, 1 Blue, 1 Clear, 4 Lavendar and 2 Pink. 1 texture is of Faceted Kunzite, the rest are Raw.
20) 7 Lapis Lazuli Textures: 2 Dark Blue, 1 Dark with Black, 1 Dark with Gold, 1 Dark with White, and 2 Medium Blue, organized as 3 Polished and 4 Raw gemstone textures.
21) 14 Moonstone Textures: 6 Peach, 3 Blue, 1 Clear and 4 White. These are separated into 1 Cracked, 9 Polished and 4 Raw textures.
22) 15 Morganite Textures: 11 Clear, 3 Pink, and 1 Peach, with 3 Faceted and 12 Raw gemstone textures.
23) 14 Onyx Textures: 6 Banded, 2 Chalcedony and 6 Marble textures, separated into 8 Polished and 6 Raw specimens.
24) 20 Opal Textures: 1 Mexican Orange, 4 Black, 4 Red, 4 White, 1 Boulder, 4 In Matrix, 1 Multicolor and 1 Purple texture, grouped as 1 Faceted, 7 Polished and 12 Raw gemstones.
25) 10 Pearl Textures: Pearls have odd categories. Polishing isn't the same for pearls as for other gems, as pearls are organic. Raw pearls are pearls still in shell matrix. Regular pearls are those removed from the matrix. Groups are collections of more than one pearl. Texture Pack contains 1 Black Group, 1 Multicolor Group, 1 Black, 1 Champagne, 1 Gold, 4 White and 1 Tahitian pearl. These textures are included as 2 Groups, 4 Raw, and 4 regular pearls.
26) 9 Peridot Textures: 3 Faceted and 6 Raw textures.
27) 12 Quartz Textures: 3 Rose, 4 Smoky, 3 Star, 1 Mixed and 1 Orange, with 2 Faceted, 3 Polished, and 7 Raw Quartz samples.
28) 8 Ruby Textures: 3 Dark Red, 2 Medium Red, 1 Multi-Red, and 2 Pink. These are separated into 3 Faceted and 5 Raw gemstone textures.
29) 20 Sapphire Textures: 6 Blue, 1 Gold, 1 Green, 4 Orange, 5 Pink, 2 Purple and 1 White, organized as 18 Faceted and 2 Raw samples.
30) 22 Spinel Textures: 11 Blue, 3 Red, 2 Green, 4 Pink and 2 Purple gemstone textures. These are grouped as 14 Faceted and 8 Raw Spinels.
31) 11 Topaz Textures: 3 Clear, 4 Gold, 1 Orange, 2 Blue and 1 Smoky, with 6 being Faceted and 5 being Raw.
32) 18 Tourmaline Textures: 1 Blue, 1 Clear, 1 Gold, 2 Green, 3 Pink, 1 Purple, 2 Red, 1 Black, 1 Multicolor, 1 Orange, 1 Pink with Black, 2 Watermelon and 1 Yellow. These are separated into 9 Faceted and 9 Raw gemstone textures.
33) 10 Turquoise Textures: 2 Bright Blue, 2 Medium Blue, 3 Green and 3 Light Blue. There are 3 Polished specimens, and 7 Raw specimens in this group.
34) 10 Zircon Textures: 2 Blue, 1 Clear, 2 Gold, 1 Green, 2 Orange, 1 Red and 1 Smoky gemstone textures. This group includes 9 Faceted and 1 Raw gemstone sample.
Cracked: There was damage to the stone and it is cracked, although the specimen was good and made an interesting or lovely texture despite this condition. A Cracked stone texture may be Polished or Raw, as well.
Faceted: Polished and cut into facets. Because faceting comes in many different styles, some gemstones have multiple faceted files to represent the different looks.
Geode: A crystalline structure inside a hollowed-out rock matrix.
Polished: Cabochon style texture. Smoothly polished, but no other enhancement.
Raw: Unpolished and untreated samples of the stone, often in the surrounding rock matrix (may contain bits of other gemstones in the matrix).
