“Picking a Ship Date”

Joel Spolsky has a great article on Picking a Ship Date.  It specifically covers the difficulties faced by software developers, and the fine line between release dates and keeping customers happy.  Unfortunately, he doesn’t specifically address the special concerns of solo developers, but it’s easy to see that I’m somewhere between “Release Very Frequently” and “Release Every 3-5 Years” lol.
